loved this course
by David E. on July 9, 2025
This course is incredibly information dense, and breaks away from the typical test size and information given in the other Sophia courses. Any one of the class milestones was harder than the final milestone. I didn't expect most of the milestones to take an hour each, so it was a very rude awakening when the time had passed while I was taking them. The first two sections on database design were pretty dense, but that is just par for the material. Running the queries in the last three sections was easier, but everything was just very time consuming still. I had the benefit of having worked with databases and SQL for 6 years, and that was the only saving grace for getting through it with relatively low effort. Anyone coming in and not having database or even spreadsheet experience, will find themselves spending more time than average on this course.
